Large group of whales saved from death twice at West Iceland shore

10 Jul 2017 Over 100 long-finned pilot whales swam twice up to shore at Snæfellsnes, West Iceland yesterday, many of them were wounded in the process. Locals worked together to push them back into the sea as you can see in the video. They were then hoarded further from shore on small boats.
