Icelandair Cancels 22 Flights Tomorrow

Icelandair has canceled 22 flights to and from European cities tomorrow, due to the severe weather forecast, and added eight flights to its schedule today, mbl.is reports. Adjustments have been made to scheduled flights from the US and Canada.

All domestic flights, that is, with Air Iceland Connect as well as Eagle Air, have been canceled for tomorrow. Air Iceland Connect has offered passengers a chance to reschedule. A flight to Akureyri from Reykjavík was added to the schedule today. 

Icelandair’s schedule changes will affect thousands of passengers, for 8,000 passengers had a flight booked with Icelandair tomorrow. Many among those have accepted the airline’s offer to leave a day early. Others will be rebooked for flights on Saturday and later.

Details regarding passengers’ new travel itinerary are sent by SMS and email to the contact provided in their booking.
