Farmers from the Hrunamannahreppur district went on an expedition to the Kerlingarfjöll mountains in the highlands to find lost sheep. They found four sheep which have been outside all winter long.

The sheep were found near Leippistungur south of the mountains.

"We knew about some sheep from the farms who didn't appear at the sheep rounds this autumn. We didn't find those but found these four instead, a ewe with two lambs and one sole lamb," said farmer Jón Bjarnason of Skipholt in today's Morgunblaðið.
