Heliskiing trips at North Iceland luxury hotel

US travel company Eleven Experience have begun helicopter skiing trips from the new Deplar Farm luxury hotel in North Iceland.
The hotel opened two weeks ago. Among the services offered are heliskiing, a luxurious spa, salmon fishing trips, hiking, mountaineering, ice climbing, conference rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, saunas, whale watching, biking, and a luxury restaurant and bar.

“The helicopter trips have been great,” says Eleven Experience ski guide Steve Banks. “Conditions for skiing have been wonderful with plenty of fresh snow.”
Helicopters take guests up the top of nearby mountains, from where ski guides accompany skiers down the slopes.
