Icelandic girl sexually assaulted in Bulgaria

Icelandic girl was sexually assaulted in Bulgaria last week, she was in a graduation trip along with her high school class. Morgunblaðið’s sources say the attacker was foreign and not a part of the class.

The class was staying close to the Sunny Beach, not far from Burgas city. The trip was planned by travel agency Tripical.

Ingi Ólafsson principal of Verslunarskólinn, from where the girl just graduated, says he knows of the case but doesn’t have much information as the trip was organized by the students themselves, not the school.

It is not yet clear whether the Icelandic Police is involved in the investigation.
