Last night in Iceland spent in prison?

Police were called in last night after a woman refused to pay for food she had consumed at an eatery in Reykjavik yesterday.

The incident occurred just before 1 am last night. The woman was reportedly extremely drunk and refused to give her name to police when questioned. She was taken to the headquarters of Reykjavik Metropolitan Police and detained in custody.

Later that night, it emerged that the women in question had a flight out of Iceland at 6 am this morning. A friend came to the police station and paid bail for the woman’s release. It is not known whether or not she made it to the airport on time.
