Horse riding is without doubt one of the most enjoyable and rewarding ways of exploring the stunning nature of Iceland. The unique Icelandic horse is a true symbol of the country, and their relatively small size make them perfect for riding.

Various companies in Iceland offer organised horse-riding tours, pairing up with horse farmers around Iceland who are real connoisseurs of local history and terrain.
