Founded in 1991 by two brewers, Stone Brewing has grown immensely over the years and is now the 10th biggest craft brewery in USA. To celebrate that brew from Stone Brewing will be available in Iceland for the very first time, there are two different events at Kex hostel and Mikkeller & Friends this coming Thursday, perfect for any beer enthusiast.
Staff from Stone Brewing will lead a seminar of sorts at Kex Hostel, introducing five of their beers accompanied by food from Sæmundur í Sparifötunum, Kex Hostel’s gastro pub. This is a one-time event and the tickets will be limited.
The second event is not limited to anything other than the seats at bar Mikkeller & Friends. There will be a so called tap takeover, where all the beers on tap will be one of Stone Brewing’s creation. Staff from Sone Brewing will be lurking around the bar ready to chat with anyone wanting information on the beer.
