Justin Bieber, who performed two concerts in Iceland earlier this month, was photographed in Paris wearing a houndstooth jacket by Icelandic designer Guðmundur Jörundsson of JÖR. The fashionable readers of the Daily Mail are not convinced, writing comments below the news story such as "That jacket is a mess."

Jörundsson however is very amused by the whole thing. On his Facebook page he writes, "Oh look, my new best friend Justin Bieber is wearing his new houndstooth JÖR jacket."

He adds, tongue-in-cheek,  that he finds it unbelievably fantastic that "Some rag we made is managing to enrage the readers of the Daily Mail. It's a goosebump moment."

JÖR by Guðmundur Jörundsson is one of the most coveted fashion labels in Iceland with a flagship store on Laugavegur main shopping street. Jörundsson has been touted as the wunderkind of Icelandic fashion, offering classic tailoring with rock and roll and punk elements. He also collaborated with outdoor clothing label 66North for a limited edition black parka.
