Iceland's largest hotel almost ready

A new hotel, Fosshótel Reykjavík is being completed at Höfðatorg, near the centre of Reykjavík. The hotel, which will be Iceland's largest hotel is nearly fully booked for when it opens, in June 2015. 

The hotel is owned by Íslandshótel and has 320 rooms of which seven are suites, on the 16th floor. Located in Reykjavík's "financial district" in Borgartún, just off the city centre, it boasts of great views across the ocean. 

Tourism is constantly on the increase to Iceland and many hotels are already fully booked for 2015.
