Bones Discovered Are Not Human
Bones discovered in a trash bag in the slope Kambar, near Hveragerði, Southwest Iceland, Tuesday night, turned out not to be human, mbl.is reports. This was confirmed by South Iceland Chief Superintendent Oddur Árnason.
He states it is unclear from what kind of animal the bones originate, but the technical department of the police has verified that they are not human bones.
Hikers discovered the trash bag in a hole in the lava. In addition to the bones, its contents included clothes, shoes, broken glass, and more.
