Icelandic telecoms company Síminn has agreed to open its pay channels for all football matches in the ongoing Euro 2016 football finals for patients at the children’s ward at Iceland’s national hospital in Reykjavik.

Síminn was urged to provide this service to young football fans who find themselves in hospital at this exciting time for Iceland, and quickly agreed.

They even went one better, extending the free access to matches on TV to the whole hospital, other health centres throughout the country, and residential and nursing homes.
