MP better known for her nipple than her face

“For the last week my left breast has played a bigger role in my life than I ever would have expected. My nipple is now probably better known than my face, which you might think would be a problem for an reputable member of Iceland's Parliament like myself,” says Björt Ólafsdóttir MP for Bright Future party in an op-ed on The Independent’s website today.
Ólafsdóttir participated in the “Free the Nipple” initiative last week and posted a picture of her nipple on Twitter with the comment “This is to feed children. Shove it up your patriarchy. #FreeTheNipple.” She did so in order to show support for a 17-year old student who was trolled after posting an image of herself online that showed her nipple.
The “Free the Nipple Day” was celebrated at several junior colleges in Iceland on March 26th with a number of women tweeting and posting pictures of their nipples online.
