Icelandic airline WOW air will, in cooperation with the City of Reykjavik, be launching WOW citybike, a bike rental in the capital city in June.

According to a press release from WOW air, people will be able to enjoy environmentally sound travel and see Reykjavik from another point of view.  WOW air has been an advocate for healthy living for several years, and organise the WOW Cyclothon contest annually to name a few of their projects.

"Cycling is a great way to travel, its good for your health and good for the environment, " says managing director of WOW air, Skúli Mogensen who added that he would like to thank the City of Reykjavik for their cooperation.

Eight bicycle stations with 100 bikes will be set up in the Reykjavik city centre and you can rent a bike from any station and return it to any of them.  Customers pay for rental at the station but can also subscribe to the service.
