Reykjavik locals very happy with their tourists

A large increase in tourist numbers has not altered the generally positive view of Greater Reykjavik residents towards them, according to a survey conducted by market research company Maskína.

Figures from the Icelandic Tourist Board show that tourists numbers in Iceland in the first four months of 2016 are 35% up on the same period last year.

Despite this huge increase, only one in twenty residents in the Greater Reykjavik area view tourists as negative in any way.
