Reykjavik's most famous cat gets kidnapped
Baktus, the resident cat of vintage clothing shop Gyllti kötturinn (the golden cat) disappeared last night. Witnesses reported that a man had picked him up in Klapparstigur and taken him into a cab.
Baktus has been a night guard at Gyllti kötturinn for around six years and has his own Instagram page which is extremely popular.
A group of people had gathered at Gyllti kötturinn this morning when he arrived home and Baktus, tired from his adventures, fell into a deep sleep.
The owners still don't know why the man tried to kidnap Baktus but are happy that he's back home.
