New Icelandic baby clothes shop opens on Laugavegur
A new baby clothes shop recently opened selling Icelandic design using organic materials
The shop is called Mói and the brand was actually founded in 2012 with the first range appearing in 2013. The spring and summer collection is available in over 100 shops all around the world including 40 SAKS stores in the US.
Ný barnafataverslun Mói opnaði nýlega á Laugaveginum og væri það ef til vill ekki í frásögur færandi nema af því að verslunin selur eingöngu íslenska hönnun úr lífrænum efnum. mbl.is/úr einkasafni
Mói aims to design unisex clothes for boys and girls made from organic cotton for ages 0-12 years in natural colours and minimalistic patterns. All production is sustainable and the clothes are made in Portugal using companies that are known for taking good care of their employees and paying reasonable wages.
