Police in Suðurnes, south-west Iceland caught up with a thief who had stolen 11 packages of chicken breasts from the Bónus supermarket. The man had stuffed the meat, valued at 23 thousand ISK into a backpack and then ran out of the shop.

Two Bónus employees ran after him heading east on Reykjanesbraut but were unable to get near him as he proceeded to throw rocks at them. The man removed his backpack during the chase and was then caught by police. He was arrested and taken in for questioning.
