MP's meet about weapons shipments

The environmental and communications committee and the committee of foreign affairs are meeting this morning about Air Atlanta's weapon transfer to Saudi Arabia. The meeting was called by MP Helga Vala Helgadóttir of the Alliance Party and member of the committee.
Minister of Communications Sigurður Ingi Jóhannsson and director of the Icelandic Transport Authority Sigurður Ingi Jóhannsson are present at the meeting.
MP Rósa Björk Brynjólfsdóttir of the Left Green Party has severely criticised the government for going against all foreign policies previosly mantained. "An Icelandic airline transferred weapons to Saudi Arabia where they are probably used in Syria and Yemen, which have been described as slaughterhouses of the world."
