President Guðni Th. Jóhannnesson is doing his part in supporting World Down Syndrome Day which is today.  People across the globe, President Jóhannesson among them,  are wearing mismatched socks to show support for diversity.

The photo of the President was published on the Facebook page of the Icelandic Down Syndrome Association.

President Jóhannesson is known for his penchant for colourful socks.  He wore Buff headgear to support the Alzheimer's association recently at an official function which caused a considerable stir.
