Video: The eruption in 1.5 minutes

The photographer of Morgunblaðið and mbl.is got this shot from the helicopter of the Coast Guard. The two eruption fissures are clearly visible and the lava flowing at the northern part of Grindavík. mbl.is/Árni Sæberg

A new video-footage by mbl.is shows the eruption, in about one and a half minutes, that occurred north of Grindavík on Sunday morning and when the second fissure was formed just near the town.

The scene also shows the lava tongue from the second fissure flowing into the town and over three houses.
