Hera Björk Þórhallsdóttir did not qualify for the European Television Song Contest with the song Scared of Heights.

The qualifying round was held in Malmö in Sweden last night.

The results are not necessarily surprising, since the predictions were that Iceland might end up in the 31st place out of 37.

The countries that made it last night are Serbia, Portugal, Slovenia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Ireland, Cyprus, Finland and Luxembourg.

Would have liked to make it for the main event

In an interview she was interviewed just after the finals were announced, she said she did her best and they would have liked to see the finals go differently.

“I just feel amazing. We did everything we could,” Hera Björk said last night. She says they felt good on stage and were well-received by the audience.

“We found love in the venue and good vibes everywhere,” she says.

Still, it’s frustrated not to make it to the main event.

“Of course, we would have liked to end it differently and give you guys joy on Saturday night. We will continue to enjoy Malmö and stay here in this love bubble,” she says.
