Eruption Has Started in Fagradalsfjall

The Icelandic Met Office has just issued the following warning: “An eruption has started in Fagradalsfjall.”

A meteorologist has confirmed this with mbl.is.

Redness in the sky over Fagradalsfjall can be detected from a livestream here.

Fagradalsfjall mountain is on the Reykjanes peninsula, Southwest Iceland.
