Most Landing Clearances at KEF Airport Canceled

Numerous airlines have canceled their landing clearances at Keflavík International Airport, Sigþór Kristinn Skúlason, CEO of the ground handling service company Airport Associates, tells mbl.is. Such cancelations are being received daily.
Sigþór states that only two of Airport Associates’ clients are still operating at the airport. These are the Hungarian airline Wizz Air and the British airline EasyJet.
Other airlines to which Airport Associates provides service - British Airways and Norwegian among them - have temporarily stopped offering scheduled flights to Keflavík.
Transavia, Vueling and Air Baltic have drastically reduced their operations in Keflavík, but still offer a few scheduled flights.
Although most landing clearances for passenger flights have been canceled, cargo flights to and from Keflavík are operating as usual. Those kinds of flights have not been affected by disease prevention measures, Sigþór states.
