Indigo to purchase WOW air

 Indigo Partners and WOW air have reached a tentative agreement on the purchase by Indigo on WOW air. An announcement was sent to press last night. 

Both parties wish to conclude negotiations as soon as possible. "Wow's management and employees have done a remarkable job in creating a well-regarded, successful ULCC brand," says Bill Franke, managing partner of Indigo, in a statement. "We have a strategic vision for the airline, and look forward to working with its employees and agents to deliver that vision."

Icelandair announced yesterday morning that their acquisition of WOW had been cancelled.
