Feeling lonely, have you just moved to Iceland or are you simply getting into the spirit of giving? Try registering up for the Secret Santa. Mbl.is/ Halldór Sveinbjörnsson

The Icelandic Secret Santa takes place for the second year this year and more than 60 people have registered. But what is the Secret Santa?

It's basically a game, Leynijólasveinninn,  where people can register and will in turn be allocated another person to give something to. Entry is free and open to anyone living in Iceland.  The only cost involved is the cost of the present that you buy, and the price tag is entirely up to you.

Participants come from all levels of society and only give what they can afford, and gifts can be purchased or homemade.

It's a great game for anyone wanting to meet new friends over Christmas or just to simply put a smile on someone's face.

So, anyone living in Iceland, you can register on facebook.com/leynijolasveinninn
