Vala Hafstað

The Fagradalsfjall eruption, Southwest Iceland, has been very active in recent days, offering photographers numerous opportunities to take colorful pictures, mbl.is reports.

Lava flowed from the main crater at great speed Saturday morning, creating large flames and plumes of smoke, visible from afar.

Photographer Donatas Aurlauskas was ready with his drone, as so often before, to catch the spectacle on video. The video was posted on YouTube and is published here, along with the photos, with his permission.

Take a look at the incredible speed with which the lava flows.
