UPDATE April 8: Wondering why the webcam is down? Here is the answer:

The Icelandic nation has been captivated by the volcanic eruption on the Reykjanes peninsula, Southwest Iceland, since it began on March 19. Last week, mbl.is installed a webcam at the eruption site in Geldingadalur valley, Fagradalsfjall mountain, and the livestream has been widely viewed.

This morning mbl.is announced it had just installed a new webcam, which provides a much better view of the eruption than the previous one. On top of that, a better Internet connection has been established in the area, allowing for a continuous livestream.

Enjoy the spectacular view!
