West Fjords in White

This amazing photo of the south side of the West Fjords was recently taken over Breiðafjörður bay, showing the area covered in the season’s first blanket of snow.

The largest fjords in the picture, from left, are Skálmarfjörður, Kvígindisfjörður and Kollafjörður.
