Most Reykjavik hotels fully booked over NYE

A great number of tourists chose to stay in Iceland during the holidays and most Reykjavik hotels were booked on New Year's Eve reports Morgunblaðið.
More restaurants than ever before were open on New Year's Eve and were also fully booked. Organised trips to see fireworks and bonfires also took place this year for tourists. These trips proved very popular and were completely booked up.
