Raccoon found in Iceland didn't have rabies
he rogue raccoon found in Hafnir in Reykjanes in March did not have rabies. Samples taken from the animal and sent to Sweden were negative.
The animal's remains are now in a freezer at the University of Iceland's contagious disease department in Reykjavik for further investigation of possible diseases.
