Yellow weater warning issued for Reykjavik this afternoon
The Reykjavik Metropolitan Police urge people to clear drains and secure loose objects outside as a storm is arriving later this afternoon. The Iceland Met Office has issued a yellow weather alert.
Roads could become impassable in Hellisheiði, Mosfellsheiði and Þrengsli. People are also warned of strong gusts of wind on Reykjanesbraut.
