Experts meet about Öræfajökull today
Geologists, volcanologistis and the Civil Protection in Iceland are meeting today to assess the situation at Öræfajökull where there have been signs of unrest. The aviation code for the area is still yellow.
Geologists are now looking at samples collected on Saturday.
Update at 13:30:
Experts say that the one strong clue to an iminent eruption would be a series of earthquakes in the area. This is however not occuring, at least not yet. However, scientists are observing the increased temperature in the caldera closely.
