Fences put up at Skógafoss waterfall
Park rangers for the Iceland Environmental Agency have put up a fence at Skógafoss waterfall, a popular tourist attraction. The number of tourists walking on the grassy area in front of the waterfall has damaged the grass, which has disappeared in a large part of the area.
According to an announcement from the agency, the next step is to wait for the grass within the fenced off area to grow back.
