Car Free Day: Bus travel in Reykjavik free today
Today, 22 September, is Car Free Day and bus company Strætó is providing free bus transport throughout the Greater Reykjavik area.
“We encourage everybody in Greater Reykjavik to leave their cars at home and travel for free all day – and forget all worries about parking spaces or petrol costs,” reads a Strætó announcement.
Car Free Day today is the culmination of European Mobility Week 2016.
