WOW air offers free flights to Brits moving to Iceland

Are you planning to relocate from the UK to Iceland over the next six weeks? Then you could save the cost of your flight here by booking with Icelandic low-cost airline WOW air, reports the Daily Star.

British nationals moving to Iceland have until 1 October to provide WOW air with proof of their move – such as a university acceptance letter, lease agreement or employment contract –to have their WOW flight ticket fully reimbursed.

“We are trying to raise awareness about Iceland and our airline in a different and fun way,” says WOW air spokesperson Svanhvít Friðriksdóttir.

The offer applies to Brits who plan on living in Iceland for at least one year. Proof of residence to benefit from this offer should be sent to movingtoice­land@wow.is.
