Transavia cheapest to Euro 2016?
Dutch low-cost airline Transavia appears to be considerably undercutting Icelandic airlines on flights on or around the dates of Iceland’s matches in the Euro 2016 football finals.
The airline has recently opened ticket sales for its Paris-Iceland flights this summer, reports Icelandic tourism and travel news website turisti.is (link in Icelandic).
As an example, a return trip to Paris around the dates of Iceland’s match against Austria in the French capital currently costs around ISK 75,000 with Icelandair and WOW air (plus checked-in luggage fees with WOW air). Prices with Transavia reportedly start at around ISK 29,000 (plus luggage fees) for a comparable return fare.
