One baby was born at the Suðurnes Hospital and Health Center, Keflavík, on Christmas Eve.

At Akureyri Hospital, one baby was born on Christmas Day. Finally, one baby was born at home in Mosfellsbær, east of Reykjavík, on Christmas Day.
