Tonight, Christmas Eve, is when Icelanders traditionally celebrate Christmas and exchange gifts.

If you’re visiting Iceland, you may be wondering what sorts of services will be available during the holidays.

A list of over 50 restaurants in the capital area shows which ones will be open (marked as ‘confirmed.’ You can check it out here

For those of you planning to visit a swimming pool, you can look up the opening hours of pools throughout the country here

The Bláfjöll Ski Area will be open for the most part, weather permitting. The area will be closed, though, December 23-25, according to the website. Check the status here
