A new magazine in English on Reykjavik fashion and design

A new magazine focusing on Icelandic fashion and design, called Reykjavik Fashion & Design has been published in Reykjavik. It's in English and features articles ranging from everything from fashion to shopping. "The magazine is different from other Icelandic style magazines in that it's published in English with the target group being tourists to Iceland. We aim to introduce Reykjavik as an exciting destination with a focus on Icelandic design, fashion and culture," says assistant editor Margrét Dagbjört Flygenring Pétursdóttir. Editor-in-chief is Ingibjörg Björnsdóttir.

"We will feature quality articles, interviews with designers, artists, culinary artists and all kinds of interesting people, both Icelandic and from abroad. The magazine will be published four times a year and the first issue is out. " She addst that the magazine is already cooperating with Reykjavik's largest hotels as well as Íslandsstofa, Visit Reykjavik and the Iceland Design Centre. Plans are being made to distribute the magazine internationally.
