Hard Rock in Iceland next year?
An Icelandic investor has secured a temporary franchise to open a Hard Rock Café in Iceland.
Speaking to Icelandic newspaper Fréttablaðið, Birgir Bieltvedt reveals that he has not yet taken a definitive decision on opening a Hard Rock Café in Iceland. If it does happen, however, a new Icelandic venue could open as early as next year.
“I am looking into it,” says Bieltvedt. “I am taking a look at the market and possible venues and such, and working on a business plan. I shall make a decision in the next couple of months.”
Bieltvedt is one of the owners of Domino’s and Joe & the Juice in Iceland.
Iceland previously had a Hard Rock Café from 1987 to 2005.
