Siggi the Hacker gets three years in prison

25 Sep 2015 Sigurður Ingi Þórðarson, otherwise known as Siggi the Hacker, has been sentenced to three years imprisonment for sexual abuse against minors. He has also been ordered to pay his victims damages amounting to 8,6 million ISK and legal fees of 6 million ISK. Þórðarson pleaded guilty to all charges.

Wikileaks hacker pleads guilty to child offences

28 Aug 2015 Sigurður Ingi Þórðarson, aka Siggi "The Hacker" has pleaded guilty of sexual assault charges against nine boys. This was confirmed by his defendant and the district attorney at the Iceland High Court to mbl.is.

Ordered to pay damages to Wikileaks

22 Dec 2014 Sig­urður Ingi Þórðar­son, otherwise known as Siggi "The Hacker" hs been ordered to pay over 7 million ISK to Wikileaks for fraud which took place in 2011 when Þórðarson pretended to have authority from Julian Assange to have money transferred to his personal account from the Spreadshirt webstore.

Þórðarsson's psychological evaluation deems Þórðarson as a sociopath. He has received a prison sentence of two years and is awaiting charges for sexual assault.

Siggi "The Hacker" gets two years prison

22 Dec 2014 Sigurður Ingi Þórðarson, better known as Siggi "The Hacker" has received a two-year prison sentence for multiple fraud and theft. The total charges add up to around 30 million ISK. The district attorney called for a two-year sentence referring among other things to a psychological evaluation which deems Þórðarson as a sociopath.

26 Nov 2014 The case against Siggi "The Hacker" has undergone a sharp turn-around. Siggi has decided to change his plea to "Guilty". Charges against him amount to thirty pages of embezzlement and fraud.

Assange to testify in "Hacker" case

14 Nov 2014 Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks will not have to come to Iceland to testify in the court case against Sigurður Ingi Þórðarsson, better known as Siggi "The Hacker", but is instead to testify by telephone.
