Iceland supports tougher sanctions against North-Korea
Iceland supports tougher sanctions against North Korea in the wake of the latest test of a nuclear bomb by North Korea on Sunday.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Guðlaugur Þór Þórðarsson stated this on Rúv national broadcasting service last night.
"Yes, we support them, and we have already condemned their testing and we stand tightly with our allies in this matter."
North Korea was a topic of discussion at a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Nordic and Baltic countries, as well as UK foreign minister Boris Johnson last night.
