Iceland President in BBC Arctic interview
Iceland’s President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson sat down this weekend with BBC World’s Owen Bennett Jones to discuss Arctic issues.
“Arctic open for business” is the BBC title for the radio interview, in which President Grímsson discusses the opportunities afforded by the opening up of new Arctic shipping routes, while not losing sight of the possible environmental threat.
The interview also touches on Russia, militarisation, Greenland, and international cooperation generally and can be listened to below.
