KEF Airport Fire Fighters Dance and Delight

A video of a group of dancing fire fighters at Keflavík International Airport has been widely watched since it was posted on YouTube a couple of days ago, mbl.is reports. Numerous first responders, including police officers and fire fighters, have in recent days posted videos of themselves dancing, intended to cheer up the rest of us.

“We wanted to participate and decided to make this video,” states Örvar Birkisson. “This was the whole crew; all of us took part in it.”

“We love being able to cheer up so many people,” he adds. “We try to do something positive under these unfortunate circumstances in society and to show solidarity.” The goal was to entertain, he states.

The video is dedicated to nurses, healthcare professionals and emergency responders everywhere.
