Camper van blown off road in storm- one tourist injured

 A tourist was transported to the National University Hospital via helicopter after his camper van blew off the road in South Iceland by Reynisfjall last night during the storm. 

Six people were inside the vehicle but only one was seriously injured and is recovering. 

The camper van was completely written off in the accident.  The storm that hit South Iceland yesterday measured up to 36 m/s in some areas.
