Part of Iceland’s Eurovision number leaked

Part of Svala Björgvins’ Eurovision number was leaked on Youtube. The clip was taken on a rehearsal in Ukraine. Svala was not performing herself, a Ukrainian singer was on stage for her as they were only rehearsing the graphics.
Svala’s husband discovered the clip on Youtube, and soon after the European Broadcasting Union that holds the competition was informed, and the video was taken down.
The Icelandic team was hoping to keep the graphics secret until the performance on 9 May in the contest, but will not change it after this incident. The video was taken down from Youtube not long after it was posted, and wasn’t seen by that many people.
The person that leaked the video was soon discovered, according to Felix Bergsson, tour manager of the Icelandic team. “He said he knew he wasn’t allowed to publish the video, but he liked the graphics so much he wanted more people to see it.”
