Tropical storm Ian to reach Iceland tomorrow
Tropical storm Ian is making its way to Iceland and will be moving over south-eastern and eastern parts of the country tomorrow.
According to the Icelandic Met Office, the storm is currently to the east of Newfoundland, having made its way from south of Bermuda over the past few days.
The storm has lost some of its strength on its journey across the Atlantic, but is still forecast to bring heavy rain and wind speeds of up to 35 mph.
The IMO says that the storm poses no immediate danger, but that heavy rain might cause localised flooding.
