Wetter and cooler weather for the weekend
The weekend is set to be wetter and cooler than in recent days, according to information from the Icelandic Met Office.
The country is forecast to progressively cloud over from today, with parts of the north and east seeing rain stright away.
All parts of Iceland are expected to see rain at some point over the weekend – most likely in the north and the West Fjords tomorrow and in the south and east on Sunday. The West Fjords will also experience strong winds tomorrow, dying down by Sunday.
Maximum temperatures in coastal areas over the weekend are forecast to be in the region of 11-13°C (52-55°F).
