Vilborg Arna heads for Everest's peak tonight
Icelandic mountaineer Vilborg Arna Gissurardóttir has disclosed on her Facebook page that seven Sherpas had reached the peak at 13:15 yesterday. She herself is heading up the mountain from her camp tonight.
"The first Western climbers will in all likelihood reach the peak tomorrow but there's no obvious window in the very next days. I will be going up tonight and hopefully get a chance to climb to the peak before long."
